| Dr. Patrice Garver has Masters Degrees in the areas of Special Education and Clinical/Developmental Psychology. She received her Ph.D. in developmental psychology specializing in assessment and treatment of children with learning and behavioral problems. She is experienced working as a special educator, learning disabilities specialist, psychometrication, school psychologist and is presently in private practice. She specializes in working with children and adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD), and the student population of the Gifted and Learning Disabled. She also specializes in psychological and psychoeducational consultation, parent and school consultation and home or school intervention programs.
Presently, Dr. Garver has received training through the Family Center at Kennedy Krieger, counseling families experiencing complex trauma. She also runs therapeutic groups for adolescents in Middle School.
Dr. Garver has been honored with the Outstanding Professional Award by CHADD for her untiring work with children and adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
Dr. Garver conducts workshops addressing issues surrounding children with special needs.
